Amrut Whisky Amrut Single Malt Whisky 70Cl

Product Description

Amrut is a sanskrit word which translates to ‘Immortality’, and any whisky lover would argue that this spirit really is the elixir of life. As the first Indian Single Malt Whisky to be made from fresh Indian grown barley, the journey of Amrut begins in the foothills of the Himalayas. This distillation process continues in Bangalore, where it is then reserved and aged 3000 metres above sea level in high-quality oak barrels, so it can retain its natural fragrance. Released in limited batches, this single malt hails flavours of dried fruits balanced with the sweetness of honeycomb and toffee. A long, oaky taste lingers throughout with traces of liquorice. Perfect Serve: Single malts are best enjoyed neat or on the rocks to capture the rawness of its flavours, but Amrut Single Malt also tastes great in cocktails. Why not whip up a Whisky Pineapple Sour by adding 30ml Amrut to 70ml pineapple juice. Add a small dash of lemon juice for some citrus sizzle and garnish with a pineapple slice.
