Product Description

When it comes to parenting, scores of short cuts, gimmicks and tips are avall-able to help us keep our children under our control. But in growing Kids through healthy authority you will discover a slightly longer road that will take you beyond rigid control to something much more precious: lifelong influence in your children's lives.

Hettie Britiz is married to Louls and they have three children. She practised as a speech therapist from 1994 to 1999, and founded an educational upliftment project in Proclamation Hill, where she worked intensively with young children and their parents, against the backdrop of neglect as well as learning and behaviour-al problems. She currently manages Evergreen Parenting, a ministry that presents parenting courses nationally and internationally, using qualified facilitators. She is also the author of Growing kids with character - a book on how to bend your sapling in order to grow.
