Cinema, like language, can be said to exist as a system of differences. In his latest book, acclaimed philosopher Jacques Ranci\u00E8re looks at cinematic art in comparison to its corollary forms in literature and theatre. From literature, he argues, cinema takes its narrative conventions, while at the same time effacing literature\u2019s images and philosophy; and film rejects theatre, while also fulfilling theatre\u2019s dream.
Built on these contradictions, the cinema is the real, material space in which one is moved by the spectacle of shadows. Thus, for Ranci\u00E8re, film is the perpetually disappointed dream of a language of images.

Refunds
Sellers have to offer a refund for certain items only if they are faulty, such as: Personalised items and custom-made items, Perishable items, Newspapers and magazines, Unwrapped CDs DVDs and computer software. If you used your PayPal balance or bank account to fund the original payment, the refunded money will go back to your PayPal account balance. If you used a credit or debit card to fund the original payment, the refunded money will go back to your card.
